Hi all,

I enjoy playing WOW at a friends house and now looking to buy a PC . Im not looking for a power house of a PC, only one that i can enjoy playing wow comfortable on. The PC im looking at has these specs:

INTEL DUAL CORE 2.6 GHZ

GIGABYTE MOTHERBOARD

WESTERN DIGITAL 320GB HARD DRIVE

ATI 4650 1GB GRAPHICS CARD

500W POWER SUPPLY

DVD-RW

WINDOWS 7 RAIL VERSION

CIT QUALITY ATX CASE

Would this PC allow me to play?

Thanks for any help or advice in advance|||You've left out some important details, like how much RAM is this thing running with and what OS will it use?

Isn't an ATI 4650 one of the older ones?|||Quote:

Yes sorry,

It has 2GB CORSAIR Ram and windows 7 but will most likely put on XP. not sure if it is old or not. most forums say it should be good but not sure to be honest.|||2 Gig i low, you're going to have lag problems in almost anything after classic content. Go for atleast 4 or more RAM if you can.

-For comparison my Vid card is an ATI 5800 series.|||Quote:

Could i just buy 4gb of ram and just install or does it take more, sorry bit of a noob to adding componets?|||RAM is one of the easiest things to install. Just pop the old sticks out and the new sticks in. I'd recommend going for two sticks of 2 GB.|||Quote:

Great, I feel better now, went mad on ebay fever and bought it a few minutes ago.

Thanks|||Make sure you get the correct type of RAM (Pin count, type, etc.) for your computer.|||4650 isn't too bad still, it not current generation, but its still pretty good bang for your buck
