A few questions before I buy

Ok, so you probably here these questions a lot, but I need to know a few things before I think about paying for an account.

A couple of things about my account first.

1. I am a level 13 Night Elf Hunter

2. I have a level 13 Feral Nightstalker as a pet.

- It's come to my attention that a lot of quests require a group of people rather than a single player. Is this true for a lot of quests? And how does one go about aquiring a permanat group?

- A lot of people ride an animal. I have a pet, but I'd much rather ride one? Wouldn't you? Is this available for me?

- I have been as far as Dark Shore in my time so far. I notice that things are more difficult here and quests are much more difficult. Are all new places like this?

- A friend of mine, who played for around a year and half went upto level 40. He then was told he could change into something else, what was that? And is this something I can still do?

- Are every 10 levels milestones?

- Any tips would be hugely appriciated, as I am considering paying for the full account.

Thanks, Darkraine.

Group quests are common but not necessary. There wouldn't be much need for other players otherwise. We'd all be playing a nice single player RPG.

You don't get a "permanent" group (unless you mean a guild - which is a group of usually like minded people who quest together, help eachother etc). You can join and leave groups whenever you want. You can invite people to join a group. To find a group for a group quest, the best thing to do is ask in chat if anyone would be willing to join you in forming a group.

Yes, everyone can ride a mount at level 20.

Each area has a level range. The game cunningly guides you through increasingly more difficult areas as you gain levels. You'd become terribly overpowered very quickly otherwise.

He was playing a Druid. And no, as a hunter you can't change form.

Yep, but it doesn't really mean anything.

Here's my favourite tip. Use wowwiki.com to find the answer to everything WoW related ;)|||Quote:

1. You make friends. You join something called a guild. Basically it's like in real life, when you need help moving, you call your friends. You spend a little time growing a "friends list" of other players who you can call on (and can call on you) for help.

2.All players over level 20 can have mounts, ie...animals to ride. All players can have "vanity" or "companion" pets...ie...pets that do nothing but follow you around Only certain classes can have combat pets...pets that attack for you...hunters, warlocks..etc.

3. Wow has a scaling difficulty zone map. The farther you get away from your spawning zone, the higher the difficulty tends to get. (Until you start running into another race's starting zone, then they go down again)

4. Druids can turn into multiple animals, and shaman have one animal travel form. So it's class specific.

5. Milestones? Usually you get nice spells at that, and the biggie abilities tend to open up on a -0 level.|||Thanks, massive help. Awesome.
