Is it all quests?

[:1]Hello all,

I used to play UO/EQ many years ago. I started playing the 10 day trial, and bought the game. So I am looking to play for some time, but this maybe the dumbest question ever...

Is the game all quests? I have done a 37823924923 quests, and am going insane! Also, is Iron forge the only big city? I guess I am still trying to learn the game... Thank you very much!|||No, it's not all quests. As early as level 10 you can enter Battlegrounds (group PvP) and from lv15 you can start Dungeons/Instances. But it's true that the fastest way to level to 85 is indeed through questing.

Once you're lv85 (which will take a while) you can become more active in what you like: e.g. raiding (PVE in groups of 10 or 25), Arena (2v2, 3v3 and 5v5 PvP), BGs (PvP in groups of 10, 25 or 40), ... You'll still do daily quests though because it will improve your reputation with in-game factions, and that way you can buy gear, mounts and other things.

There are 8 major cities; 4 Horde and 4 Alliance. From Ironforge (dwarfs) take the tram (in the gnome area) to get to Stormwind (humans), which is the major Alliance capital. From there you can take a boat to Darnassus (Night Elfs) and Exodar (draenei). The Horde's main city is Orgrimmar (Orcs), the others are Silvermoon (Blood Elfs), Undercity (Undead) and Thunderbluff (Tauren).

Give it all some time; it's a huge game and even a few months on you'll be learning new things every time you play. But yes it's a lot of questing, so better get used to that.
