heirloom items

Ok well i have a level 80 paladin but i want to start playing a hunter, the thing is i want to level this character as quickly as possible.

(i know there is new content in the low level but i am making a different account for that stuff)

my question is where and how do i obtain this heirloom gear i hear people talking about? is there a full set of it or only set pieces?|||From the Justice Point vendor or Argent Tournament quartermaster you can buy:

-Weapon

-Chest (with XP bonus)

-Shoulders (with XP bonus)

-Trinkets

The Justice Point vendor requires a fair number of justice points per piece, which could be a bit hard to get at 80. The Argent Tournament vendor takes tokens you get by doing those dailies. However, to unlock that vendor, you need to have completed the tournament chains for all of the races, and be exalted with the 5 cities and the argent crusade. (Still, it's the best way if you aren't raiding and drowning in justice points. It takes about a month to get to where you can unlock the quartermaster.)

From the Wintergrasp Quartermaster (which requires your faction to have control of Wintergrasp to access):

-Weapon

-Chest (with XP bonus)

-Shoulders (with XP bonus)

-Trinkets

These are pretty similar to the ones above, except the stats are a bit more geared towards PvP. (They will have resilience on them.) They are better if you want to do Battleground leveling, but they are still good for regular leveling if honor is easier for you to get than Justice Points or the Argent Tournament Stuff.

From the guild vendor:

-Cloaks (guild level 10)

-Helms (guild level 20)

Obviously, no one has access to the Helms yet. Once your guild does have access, I think you need to be either friendly or honored with your guild to buy them. They just cost gold, but they aren't cheap. The cloaks are 1200g each.

Even one or two pieces can help quite a bit, so don't stress about getting a full set right now. (Honestly, most people start collecting their sets near the end of a content patch cycle when they run out of stuff to spend justice points on.)|||And the ring (+xp) from the Kalu'ak Fishing Derby.|||So, unless you currently have the Justice or honor points to buy the gear you can probably have your alt levelled by the time you get them :). Although I suppose it depends on your guild, if you happen to have the rep gain guild perk along with the exp gain you might be able to do both and accelerate the levelling of your alt slowly.
