Learning to Use a shield

[:1]Is it possible to learn how to use a shield?|||Depending on what class you are.

Warriors, shamans, pallys can....and a few others....druids I think too...|||can a hunter?|||no, druids cant and hunters cant. pallys/shamans/hunters . If you are unable to equip a shield automatically it will be at one of the weapon trainers in any of the main cities. hope this helps.|||but not a hunter right?|||Quote:

Slight confusion, I suspect, due to Rowscarde's exact phrasing.

So just to re-answer the question in a slightly more clear format.

Warriors, Paladins and Shamans know how to wield a shield.

The other classes do not have that skill.|||alright, thank you|||silly me. sorry bout that.|||Hunter were nerfed from the get go. Back in open beta they could use shields, but when WoW went live (2 years ago), hunter could no longer use shields.

I guess the use of a shield + aspect of the monkey + mail would have possibly make them overpowered or something. heh
