They typoed the first line, it's 10% of normal.

Meaning if the normal exp is 100 ...you get 10.|||that means i can no longer dungeon level????????/|||Quote:

It doesn't say that at all. In fact, the explanation they give is really, really good.

Basically at 60 go to Outland (and do Outland instances), at 70 go to Northrend (and do Northrend instances) and at 80 do the Cataclysm zones (and do Cataclysm instances). If you don't you'll only get 10% of the xp.

I know they have dropped the amount of xp gained in instances recently but I think thats a different post to the one you linked.|||it never said anything about instances, where'd you get that from?|||so if i dungeon lvl i get the same amount of xp as before catalysm? ty!!|||you can run instances, but i think you're going to get less exp per kill if you're higher than intended.

Go test it?|||im moving to hungary tomorrow so i cant test it lol! im gathering info about level ups... cause i have a pre paid game card...and i will use it there as soon as i get a good internet.... i dont know why they reduce all the xp..|||You won't be able to dungeon level (at least effectively) by queuing for Wrath of the Lich King dungeons and heroics if you are already level 80 or higher. They will only give 10% of the experience they used to.

You can still level by queuing for Cataclysm dungeons.

Basically, they don't want people to be able to level to 85 by grinding the much easier Wrath of the Lich King mobs. (After all a typical WotLK level 80 mob has 10K-12K hitpoints. A typical Cataclysm level 80 mob has 30K hitpoints.) Just think of it as the Wrath mobs going "gray" once you hit level 80.|||i just need to lvl up to 80 fast... then 85 will be pancake... i hate questing... i will not be questing 27-80

but from 80-85 i will...

so thats y im asking if dungeon lvling is still good...
