I am planning to return to wow since cataclysm is coming, but since I wasnt here for about a year and half I need help to pick server. I am looking for Europe server where would be large population, and people there would be wise (I mean that server wouldnt be mainly populated by kiddies who can write only in Caps and shout just things like Noob,Haxxorz etc. etc.). And absolutely great would be if both horde and alliance would be balanced. But things that matters most to me is population and wise people. Please help.|||Quote:

Good luck with that. I have not found such a server or even such a guild yet. If you find it, please let us know, i am sure many people would migrate there right away.
On a more serious note : Try googling "wow server population". There is a very nice site about this, but i can not link to it here. It has goldseller ads :(|||Quote:

And if I would narrow it down to RP or RPPVP EU server and I am seeking balanced play if RPPVP, or simply good server what would you recommend?|||2 options, I think
Firstly, check out the official forum for the server(s) in question.
Secondly, just make a lvl 1 char and run it to the nearest city and sit there for 10 minutes observing the general atmosphere.
If both of these give a positive impression, give it a go, otherwise move on to the next one.
Checking populations is also a good idea - high population servers can be good for economy and progression, but a real pain when you're one of 1000s looking for quest items / mobs.
